1. What GrowthLens Does
GrowthLens helps website owners, creators, and businesses audit their online presence. For YouTube audits, GrowthLens can analyze public YouTube channel signals and, when a user chooses to connect their Google or YouTube account, authorized YouTube account data.
2. Google Sign-In Data
When a user signs in with Google, GrowthLens may access basic Google profile information such as name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.
GrowthLens uses this information to identify the user’s account, manage account access, apply usage limits, and provide a secure signed-in experience.
3. YouTube Data API Access
When a user chooses to connect their YouTube channel, GrowthLens may request read-only access to YouTube channel data. GrowthLens may access channel information, channel statistics where available, recent video titles, recent video descriptions, upload dates, public views, public likes, public comment counts, tags where available, and public channel branding signals.
GrowthLens uses this data to identify the connected channel, generate YouTube audit scores, generate growth recommendations, and create consultant-style reports.
GrowthLens uses read-only access. GrowthLens does not upload, edit, delete, publish, or manage YouTube videos.
4. YouTube Analytics Data
GrowthLens may later ask users to connect YouTube Analytics. If enabled in the future, GrowthLens may request read-only access to private YouTube Analytics data such as views by date, watch time, average view duration, traffic sources, subscriber gain or loss, and other authorized analytics metrics.
GrowthLens will use this data only to generate private channel growth insights for the connected channel. GrowthLens will not claim private metrics unless the user has granted the required permission and the data has been successfully fetched.
5. YouTube Monetary Analytics Data
GrowthLens may later request additional permission for monetary analytics. If enabled in the future, GrowthLens may request read-only access to YouTube monetary analytics such as estimated revenue, ad revenue, RPM, CPM, monetized playback data, membership revenue, or Super Chat revenue where available.
GrowthLens will not sell, publish, or expose a user’s private revenue data.
6. How GrowthLens Uses Data
GrowthLens uses authorized data to generate audit reports, calculate GrowthLens scores, identify growth opportunities, recommend content packaging improvements, recommend discovery improvements, and generate PDF reports requested by the user.
GrowthLens does not sell Google or YouTube user data. GrowthLens does not use YouTube data to modify, upload, delete, publish, or manage YouTube content.
7. AI Processing and Service Providers
GrowthLens may use trusted service providers to operate the product, including authentication, hosting, database, AI model, PDF generation, and security providers. Relevant audit inputs may be processed to generate user-requested reports and recommendations.
GrowthLens shares data with service providers only as needed to operate the product, provide requested features, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
8. Data Storage
GrowthLens may store limited account and usage information such as user email address, account plan, usage count, audit type, audit timestamp, session information, and connected channel identifier when required for product functionality.
GrowthLens should avoid storing private YouTube Analytics data unless necessary for a user-requested feature.
9. User Control and Revocation
Users can revoke GrowthLens access to their Google or YouTube account at any time from their Google Account permissions page:
After access is revoked, GrowthLens will no longer be able to access newly authorized Google or YouTube data for that user.
10. Data Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of their GrowthLens account data and connected YouTube data by contacting:

A deletion request should include the email address used to sign in to GrowthLens and a clear request to delete GrowthLens account data and connected YouTube data.
11. Limited Use Statement
GrowthLens’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
GrowthLens uses Google and YouTube data only to provide or improve user-facing GrowthLens features that the user requests.
